Bus routes remain diverted due to an "ongoing police incident" in Wirral.
Reeds Lane was closed in both directions after a car crashed into a level crossing last week as police were at the scene helping to divert traffic. Trains were also cancelled as Merseyrail services on the New Brighton line and West Kirkby line were at a standstill.
The incident occurred on Friday, March 24. But on Monday evening, Arriva North West warned that due to the ongoing incident, the service 423 is diverted.

Arriva wrote on social media: "Due to the ongoing police incident at Reeds Lane, service 423 is diverted via Reeds Lane, Leasowe Rd and Pasture Avenue in both directions, omitting a section of Hoylake Road and Reeds Lane."
A spokesperson for Merseyside police previously said: "We are appealing for information following a report of a van going through a train barrier at Leasowe Station today, Friday 24 March. At around midday today it was reported that a white van went through the level crossing barrier on Reeds Lane and drove off.
"The van was found abandoned nearby. Road closures are in place on Reeds Lane while the incident is being dealt with.
"We ask that drivers avoid the area and find an alternative route. We thank you for your patience as we deal with this incident.
"Anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage on this incident is asked to contact @MerPolCC on Twitter or ‘Merseyside Police Contact Centre’ on Facebook with reference 389 of 24 March."
