Check out our 17/10 Burnley vs Manchester United prediction below
Inexplicably poor finishing ultimately cost Manchester United their place in this season's FA Cup but they are going to have to put Friday's disappointment behind them quickly if they are going to salvage something from this season by securing a place in the top four of the Premier League.
Of course, the Reds are still in the Champions League, with a winnable tie against Atletico Madrid on the horizon, but it's not that realistic to expect them to mix it with Europe's elite in their current state.
The focus now has to be on picking up the necessary Premier League points to finish in that final Champions League spot and that begins at Turf Moor on Tuesday night.
United are red-hot 11/20 favourites with Grosvenor Sport to get the win they need, while Sean Dyche's side are 5/1 shots to pick up three hugely valuable points in their scrap for Premier League survival.
This has been a favourable fixture for United in recent years, so much so that they have won their last five visits to Turf Moor without conceding. Burnley have scored just once in their last ten home games against United, and that goal was way back in 2009.
The Reds have been much maligned this term but their record on the road is actually pretty decent. United haven't lost an away game since that fateful Saturday afternoon at Watford that ultimately cost Ole Gunnar Solksjaer his job.
Clean sheets haven't been easy to come by on the road - just two all season, but they have an opportunity to increase that to three at a Burnley side that have scored just eight goals at home all season - six of which came in two games against Crystal Palace and Brentford.
Burnley vs Manchester United prediction
United actually played well, especially in the first half, against Middlesbrough on Friday night and this doesn't actually feel like a particularly difficult fixture for Ralf Rangnick's side (famous last words).
Cristiano Ronaldo's form is a worry (one goal in his last six matches) but there is no doubt that there has been a lot more fluidity to United's offensive play in recent weeks and they really should have too much for this limited Burnley outfit.
Burnley caused United a few problems in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford but they have failed to score in half of their Premier League home games this term and United look like a good bet to beat them without conceding.
