Burnley, Stoke City and Sheffield United are believed to be on the trail of on-loan Motherwell winger Stuart McKinstry.
The 20-year-old is on loan at his boyhood club from Leeds United, and though he is thought to be highly regarded at Elland Road, his contract expires in the summer.
As a result, several English Championship clubs are believed to be keeping tabs on him, should he end up leaving the Yorkshire giants.
McKinstry, who rose through the ranks at Fir Park before sealing a move to Leeds in 2019, has been a regular for the youth teams at Elland Road, but only made two senior appearances, including his Premier League debut last season.
Vincent Kompany's Burnley have been keen to add to their squad since being relegated from the Premier League last season, and are top of the Championship by three points over Sheffield United, courtesy of their 3-0 win over Birmingham last night.
The Wishaw lad has scored twice in 14 games since returning to Motherwell during the summer, as they prepare for a Premiership clash against Rangers at Ibrox this evening.
