Forgotten former Scotland star Oliver Burke insists his hard work is paying off after netting three Bundesliga goals in two games.
And Werder Bremen are set to offer the 28-year-old ex-Celtic ace a new deal in Germany.
Burke - who was once Scotland's most expensive player and previously cost a combined transfer outlay of £28million when RB Leipzig and West Brom signed him - has been widely praised for his performances for Werder, who are now on the brink of qualifying for Europe for the first time in 18 years.
The ex-Nottingham Forest player won the last of his 13 Scotland caps in 2020, but must be in Steve Clarke's thoughts after netting against Eintracht Frankfurt last week and scoring a double at Stuttgart, having started the last six games for his club.
And Burke said: "I'm on cloud nine, very happy, have a smile on my face, and I'm also very happy for the team.

"I told the club from the beginning that I was capable of something like this. I achieved it because the club believed in me and I gave it my all.
"I give 110 per cent every day, on and off the pitch. The hard work is really paying off.
"My teammates have also helped me get into this position. I wouldn't be here without them. I'm very grateful, also for the manager's trust. Things are going great. Europe would be a huge success for this club."
Burke is out of contract at the end of the season, but Werder Bremen boss Ole Werner said: "Oli hasn't had an easy path, so I'm very happy for him.
"And I'm optimistic and confident that the talks between him and the club will lead to a positive outcome for both sides."
