A burglar fled after he was confronted by homeowners in Ellesmere Port.
The incident took place at around 5am on Wednesday, June 1, when an unknown offender is believed to have gained entry to a property in the Raby Court area. The man was confronted by the residents and left the address.
It is believed that the man had an injury to his hand and that this incident may be linked to several attempted burglaries that have taken place around the Rochester Drive area. Cheshire Police are now appealing to anyone with information to come forward

Sergeant Mark Bryce said: "I know that there has been a lot of talk in the community regarding this incident and I would like to reassure residents that we are doing all we can to find the person responsible. A number of enquiries are currently underway and people will see a visible presence in the area.
"As part of our enquiries we are appealing to anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage from the Raby Court area in the early hours of the morning to contact us. The same goes to anyone who may have witnessed anything or may have information that they believe could assist in our investigation.”
