Scottish Burger King fans can get their hands on one of the fast-food chain's signature dishes worth £5.49 for completely free - but only for today.
The Burger chain announced the return of their popular Whopper Day for today only, Wednesday, May 18, meaning that Scots can grab the iconic flame grilled burger without paying a penny.
Usually priced at £5.49 for an individual burger, the Whopper has become one of Burger King's most popular dishes since it was launched back in 1957.
Described as a "flame grilled masterpiece", the iconic burger is made with a seared patty to create a "unique and irresistible flavour." The burger is then topped with fresh tomatoes, freshly cut lettuce and onions, crunchy pickle, a layer of creamy mayonnaise and a swirl of ketchup.
And meat-free fans won't be left out either, as the plant-based whopper is also part of the exclusive limited deal as well. The vegan burger is made with a plant-based patty and vegan mayo.
If you want to take advantage of this limited-time only deal, then all you need to do is download the Burger King app and register your account.
Then head into your local Burger King branch, show the cashier and you'll be given your free burger. Absolutely no other purchase is necessary - though, can you really resist their iconic chips to complete the order?
If you'd prefer to get your Whopper delivered to your door, then Deliveroo orders are offering the deal only orders over £15.
Katie Evans of Burger King said: "The Whopper is Burger King’s hero burger - created using fresh ingredients, made to order your way and flame-grilled to create the signature, mouth-watering flavour that our customers love. For one day only we think everyone deserves to get involved with a bite of the action and savour a free Whopper on us!
"This Whopper Day, we hope the nation will join us in enjoying a legendary Whopper. If you haven’t tried a Whopper before, here’s the day to try it!”
