Burger King is giving away free goodies to customers at around half of its UK restaurants - including those in Liverpool and others in Merseyside.
Customers can claim a free cheeseburger, fries, hamburger or a regular drink after downloading the Burger King app. You then need to create an account in order to receive the "reward".
Burger King's new loyalty scheme comes after its rival McDonald's upgraded its app last week, according to Money Saving Expert.

Once customers have signed up, they will receive 200 BK reward points, 150 of which can be traded for any of the freebies listed above. This can be done at the restaurant or drive-thru itself, or when ordering via the Burger King app.
Burger King has more than 500 locations across the UK, but you can only use the new loyalty scheme at 279 of them – check the full list on Burger King's website to see if your nearest restaurant is participating.
For every £1 you spend at Burger King, you'll earn 10 points. You'll need 250 points for a free double cheeseburger or 400 for a Whopper, while 800 points will get you a Bacon Double XL meal.
Points can only be spent on certain items, and they expire after six months.
