Burger King has finally confirmed the new Doritos fries announced on April Fool's day is no joke.
The fast food chain teased the release of Doritos Chilli Heatwave Chicken Fries on April 1 to the shock of fans, who couldn't tell if Burger King was telling the truth.
But after days of speculation we have an answer - and the exciting crossover is coming sooner than you think.
Joining the menu nationwide from Tuesday, the wait is nearly over, and those brave enough for a sneak peak can get their hands on the spicy side today.
Expect the chicken fries to bring the heat, as they're 100% chicken breast, coated in a layer of crushed Doritos tortilla chips, with a dusting of Doritos Chilli Heatwave flavour.
Excitingly, anyone bold enough to check if they've been fooled will be rewarded with a tasty buy one get one free offer, available today only in participating restaurants, via the Burger King app and on Just Eat.
Burger King first announced the product mash-up on April Fool's Day, sending chicken fans into a frenzy.
The restaurant didn't help matters either, as it launched a poll that saw thousands vote on whether the flame-grilling experts should really bring them to life.
"THIS SHOULD BE REAL," one fan said at the time. Another thought: "April Fool! but I bet they would taste amazing."
The chain also dropped a series of hints during the week, with post-it notes teasing the launch across Doritos' ads nationwide.
Now, after days of speculation, the truth has been revealed. Katie Evans, from Burger King UK, said: "We've been teasing this epic product launch all week long and it’s clear our fans are no fools – they know a good thing when they see one. The launch of Doritos Chilli Heatwave Chicken Fries is the latest new product development in our collaboration with Doritos, and we're very excited to bring it to Burger King restaurants nationwide."
The launch is the latest development in Burger King's collaboration with Doritos, which was announced with a fiery twist last month.
To celebrate the collab, a huge billboard, positioned next to a Burger King in Middlesbrough, was given the 'flame-grilled' treatment – much like one of the chain's burgers.
