Dramatic pictures show the aftermath of a crash in Exeter involving an Audi and Mercedes. Roads traffic and monitoring service, Inrix, reported the incident at just after 2pm on Monday.
Motorists were unable to use the route for a number of hours after two cars crashed. Pictures taken from the scene show the damage to the vehicles following the incident.
Police have also been pictured at the scene, reports Devon Live.

An image of the Audi shows that the bumper has come away from the vehicle. Another image shows a Mercedes which has mounted the curb. There is also damage to the rear of the vehicle and a back tyre.
Inrix previously reported: "One lane blocked and slow traffic due to accident on B3212 Cowick Street Westbound at Buller Court."

The crash comes as one man in Bristol was forced to fork out hundreds of pounds to repair his car after driving over a pothole. His garage bill totalled £210 after driving on a notoriously bad Bristol route.
