Bukayo Saka's celebration after Arsenal goal vs Aston Villa explained amid injury scare

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka took his goal tally to nine with a brilliant strike in the 4-2 win against Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon. The Gunners were pegged back twice by Unai Emery's side but found a way to secure all three points with two goals in injury time.

Saka has been arguably the Gunners best performer this season having registered nine goals and eight assists in 23 appearances this term. Mikel Arteta feared the worst when he saw the 21-year-old fall to the ground off the ball clutching at his ankle in visible discomfort.

The Arsenal boss eased fears over a potential injury scare after the game as the Spaniard delivered an immediate update on Saka which will certainly be seen as good news. "He’s fine, he got kicked quite a lot today again, nut he’s going to have to deal with that, not every week, but every three days and sometimes in training as well because it’s his game and teams are not stupid and they want to stop him," said Arteta as he called for more protection for the 21-year-old.

Saka's goal brought the north Londoners back level following Ollie Watkins' early opener for the hosts. The England international lashed the ball home with a fierce volleyed strike past Emiliano Martinez - who had a game to forget against his former side.

Saka has now explained his celebration after helping Arsenal move back to the top of the Premier League, revealing that it was a homage to Gunners legend Thierry Henry. The English forward posted a picture of his celebration along with another photo of Henry doing the same celebration for France with the message: "Honouring the King *crown emoji*."

Saka will hope he can help lead Arsenal to their first Premier League title since 2004 when Arsene Wenger's side, including Henry, went unbeaten throughout the entire season seeing them be labelled as the 'Invincibles'.
