Mikel Arteta has confirmed Bukayo Saka will miss several of weeks of action due to his hamstring injury.
Bukayo Saka Injury: Arsenal Star Out For “Many Weeks”
It’s a major blow for Arsenal given Saka has been their best player so far this season.
Saka picked up the hamstring injury in Arsenal’s 5-1 thrashing of Crystal Palace and had to leave the field after just 26 minutes.
The 23-year-old was then seen leaving Selhurst Park on crutches, sparking fears he will miss plenty of football as Arsenal mount a challenge for the Premier League title with Liverpool.

And Arteta has confirmed those fears, revealing Saka will be out for a lengthy period of time.
“It’s not looking good, he’s going to be out for many weeks,” Arteta said in a press conference on Monday.
“I cannot be too specific because I do not know but it’s going to be many weeks.”
Saka Has Been Arsenal’s Star Man This Season
So far this year Saka has been involved in all but one of Arsenal’s Premier League games and he has been without a doubt the best player in north London after 17 games.
Saka has scored five and recorded 10 assists in the league alone this season, making him a firm contender for player of the season should he make a speedy recovery from his injury.
Arteta has been reluctant to give an actual timeframe on when he expects Saka back.
Saka is expected to miss at least Arsenal’s clash with Ipswich on December 27, as well as their trip to Brentford on New Year’s Day.
