Arsenal are looking to fend off interest in Bukayo Saka and have offered him a new long-term contract, according to recent reports.
The Daily Mail claim the new deal would see the England international become one of the Gunners' best paid players as he'd 'double' his current £70,000-per-week deal. The report adds talks have been ongoing for some time but they've now formally offered the extension in hopes of tying him down long-term.
Saka currently has two years left on his deal at the Emirates and has been the subject of interest from both Liverpool and Manchester City in recent times. The report suggests the 20-year-old is yet to formally respond to the offer, but there is a 'growing confidence' at the club a deal will be struck.

Last week, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta provided an update on Saka's contract situation suggesting it was only a 'matter of time'. It is reportedly the club's main priority this summer as the academy graduate is set to enter the final two years of his current deal.
"We will try," Arteta told football.london when asked about the chances of a deal being agreed this summer. "We both have the same intention. It’s a matter of time."
Liverpool themselves have struck a deal for their star man Mohamed Salah this summer, tying the Egyptian down to at least 2025. With Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez also recent signings, the Reds will be in no rush to boost their attacking options. Manchester City, however, reportedly view Saka as the 'ideal' replacement for Raheem Sterling, who joined Premier League rivals Chelsea this window.
