The Buffalo Bills star has been hospitalised since last Sunday when he was admitted following a cardiac arrest suffered during the Bills regular season game with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Miraculously, Hamlin awoke from his coma on Thursday morning and spoke to friends, family and teammates in the days since.
Today, it was announced that the 24-year-old, who was a sixth round pick out of the University of Pittsburgh in 2021, was returning to Buffalo just a week on from his cardiac arrest.
"We are thrilled and proud to share that Damar Hamlin has been released from the hospital and returned to Buffalo," read a statement released by UC Medical Center on Monday afternoon.
"He is doing well and this is the next stage of his recovery."
Hamlin's incident has brought about a wave of support from the sporting world, with sportspeople all over the world wearing shirts in honour of Hamlin and have issued messages of support to Hamlin's family.
"The Buffalo Bills are grateful for the outpouring of support following last Monday's events," began a Bills statement.
"The on-field response was part of an emergency action plan that exists at every NFL site which involves team, independent medical and athletic training staff, equipment and security personnel, and is reviewed prior to every game. Each member of the EAP team performed their job as they are trained to do."
The Bills returned to action on Sunday in a 35-23 win over the New England Patriots. Prior to the game, Hamlin posted an image of Instagram that showed him cheering on the team from his hospital bed.
In an amazing turn of events, on the very first play since Damar's incident, Nyheim Hines opened up the game with a 96-yard kick-off return touchdown.
