They're seemingly dissimilar players, former Oklahoma and current Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield and former Colts punter Pat McAfee. They played different positions in different (at the time) college conferences, achieving vastly different levels of notoriety while on campus.
However, they have one thing in common: both were, during their playing careers, arrested for public intoxication.
McAfee was apprehended in October 2010 in Indianapolis’s Broad Ripple area, found shirtless and wet past five o’clock in the morning (and earning a one-game suspension from the Colts). Mayfield was arrested in February 2017 after hurling obscenities at a police officer in Fayetteville, Ark.
On Friday’s episode of ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show, with both incidents in the distant past, the two players bonded over their miscues.
“We’ve seen the videos of you in college. I’ve had a few of those as well,” McAfee told Mayfield, high-fiving him as the show’s other panelists laughed.
Baker Mayfield and Pat McAfee share a high five over their similar arrests.

Mayfield is in Dallas as No. 12 Oklahoma prepares to meet No. 3 Texas in the Red River Showdown; he will serve as College GameDay’s celebrity guest picker during Tampa Bay’s bye week.
