The Tampa Bay Buccaneers missed out on Zac Robinson in their search for an offensive coordinator after he left the Los Angeles Rams to join Raheem Morris on the Atlanta Falcons coaching staff, so Tampa Bay is looking at another Rams assistant instead.
According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the Buccaneers will interview Rams pass game specialist Jake Peetz for their offensive coordinator position. He’s one of several candidates Tampa Bay is considering, and he’s the latest coach from Sean McVay’s staff to draw interest from another team.
Add #Rams pass game specialist Jake Peetz to the #Buccaneers’ OC interview list. He’ll chat with Tampa later this week and is a name to watch. https://t.co/eIxNnTBhsO

Peetz has bounced between the college and NFL level as a coach, getting his start in the NFL with the Jaguars in 2012. Before joining the Rams as a pass game specialist in 2022, he was the Panthers’ QBs coach in 2020 and LSU’s offensive coordinator in 2021.
Peetz, 39, could be a candidate to replace Robinson as the Rams’ offensive coordinator, but if McVay wants to go that route, he might need to move quickly with the Buccaneers lurking.
