BT Sport host Jake Humphrey has poked fun at Manchester United after what he was served for lunch during the Reds' clash with Southampton at Old Trafford on Saturday lunchtime.
With the lunchtime kick-off less than ten minutes old, Humphrey took to Twitter to share a photograph of what United had given him for lunch after going off air, following the beginning of the match.
Instead of being presented a slap-up meal that most Premier League clubs offer nowadays, the BT Sport presenter shared that he had been given an unusual combination, featuring what appeared to be a breakfast muffin along with scrambled egg and mashed potato.
Taking to Twitter, Humphrey posted: "Scrambled egg and mashed potato. Wow. Thanks for lunch @ManUtd," along with a laughing emoji.
Just five minutes later, the BT Sport host, who is a Norwich City supporter, replied to his own tweet to show the difference in what he receives whilst working across the city at Manchester City's Etihad Stadium - and the difference was startling.
The picture showed Humphrey, as well as Joleon Lescott and Richard Dunne, being supplied with plates of chips and fresh sandwiches.
Tweeting the image, Humphrey said: "PS - How your neighbours do it," accompanied with an emoji with its tongue sticking out, implying that he was poking fun at the difference in standard between United's hospitality and City's.
Unsurprisingly, no shortage of Humphrey's followers replied to his tweet displaying the different between the two meals, attracting tongue-in-cheek responses. Below, MEN Sport has taken a close look at what some of them had to say.
As you can see, those who responded to Humphrey's tweet were less than impressed and delivered some humorous responses.
On the pitch, United held a one-goal lead at half time thanks to Jadon Sancho's first Premier League goal at Old Trafford.
