BT launch cheapest package for just £6 a month which includes Netflix and NOW TV

In a world where streaming entertainment is king, it pays to have all of your entertainment options in the same place, for the best possible price. Broadband and entertainment giants, BT, are offering substantial discounts on their packages.

New and existing customers will now be able to sign up to their BT TV Entertainment package for just £6 per month down from £17, for a whopping 24 months. By our calculations, that translates to more than half price entertainment for two years, guaranteeing a total saving of £264 throughout the contract period.

The new deal, which is valid until April 14, follows the revamp of BT TV's flexible packages, which makes Netflix accessible to all customers on their Entertainment, Big Entertainment and VIP plans. BT's aim is to widen the choice of the very best entertainment content for their customers, with just one simple monthly payment.

What's included?

BT have said that new customers will receive the BT TV box pro, which is the company's most advanced set top box, offering wireless connectivity, Dolby Atmos sound and up to 600 hours of recording space. They have also revealed that the box is 4K HDR ready, promising a super clear image no matter what your entertainment preferences, as well as trusty functions like the pause, rewind and record options so that customers need not miss a moment of their favourite shows.

Not only this, but the package also includes a Netflix subscription, as well as a NOW TV Entertainment package which will give customers access to many desirable channels seldom seen on other streaming services such as Sky Atlantic, Sky Max and Sky Witness. The deal also includes free activation as well as free post and packaging.

But what if I already have Netflix or NOW?

If you already pay for Netflix, BT have said that there is no need to cancel your account, as they will consolidate your existing account into their package, which means that you won't have to say goodbye to your saved shows and your Netflix history, and you can pay your bills all in one place at one time.

They instruct that when you checkout at BT, they'll email a link to activate your Netflix account on BT TV, as well as offer the option to choose which ever Netflix plan you want when you activate, even if it's different from your existing one.

The same applies if you already have a NOW membership. BT state that they will transfer your existing NOW account onto your BT account and bill. They also state that their TV bundles are flexible, so you can add and remove the TV elements you want or don't want month by month.

TV with BT Superfast and Full Fibre offer

Not only are BT offering a money saving deal for their TV packages, but in addition, they are currently running a limited time discount on Superfast Fibre and Full Fibre broadband plans w hen combined with the BT TV entertainment offer.

The broadband giants say that through this deal, customers can make massive savings over the lifetime of their plan. For example, BT shared that BT Fibre Essential Broadband combined with BT TV Entertainment is just £32.99 per month for 24 months, which is down £13 from the usual price of £45.99 per month. With no upfront fee, this offers a total saving of £361.
