Bryony Page Wins Gold In Women's Trampoline At Olympics

Olympic gold medalist skier Vonn interview in New York

At her third Olympics, Bryony Page achieved a remarkable feat by winning gold in the women's trampoline event, completing her full medal set. Page, who had previously won silver in Rio 2016 and bronze in Tokyo 2020, entered the Paris Games with her sights set on the top of the podium.

Executing a near-flawless routine, Page impressed the judges and earned a total score of 56.480, with high marks for difficulty, execution, time of flight, and horizontal displacement. As she anxiously awaited the results, Page's emotions were palpable, expressing her hopes with a whispered plea.

When her first-place score was announced, the 33-year-old British athlete dropped to her knees in disbelief, realizing she had secured at least a silver medal. The tension mounted as the final competitor, China's Hu Yicheng, faltered in her routine, ensuring Page's gold medal victory.

Having previously missed out on the top spot in two Olympic Games, Page's triumph was a culmination of years of dedication and hard work. The two-time world champion now adds an Olympic gold medal to her impressive list of achievements.

Viyaleta Bardzilouskaya, competing as an Individual Neutral Athlete from Belarus, claimed the silver medal with a score of 56.060, while Canada's Sophiane Méthot secured the bronze.
