It seems as though Bryce Young knows something that we don’t know.
With 10 days left until he hears his name called by Commissioner Roger Goddell in Kansas City, the University of Alabama quarterback has reportedly canceled his remaining pre-draft visits. NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero was first with the news on Monday afternoon, and hinted that this could be yet another indication that the Carolina Panthers are preparing to select Young with this year’s No. 1 overall pick.
Alabama QB Bryce Young has canceled his remaining pre-draft visits, per sources — another sign to back up belief within the league that the 2021 Heisman Trophy winner will be the #Panthers’ pick at No. 1 overall.

The 2021 Heisman Trophy winner met with the Panthers in Charlotte last Tuesday for a top-30 visit. And Young, according to Will Kunkel of FOX Charlotte, was “impressive” during the interview process.
Young has also met with the Houston Texans, who are slated to pick behind the Panthers from the second overall position. So it seems the floor for Young—who remains a considerable odds-on favorite to be taken atop the board—is at No. 2.
