In a recent social media post, high school basketball standout Bryce James is simply having a go at his father, LeBron James. Of course, the Los Angeles Lakers forward is having a pretty good week himself.

In 2018, LeBron James had a famous social media post featuring a photo where he was in a pool and smiling. The caption of the photo was “Smiling through it all! Can’t believe this is my life.”
So along comes Bryce James, a class of 2025 small forward and a three-star recruit out of Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, California). In a social media post on Friday afternoon, Bryce James pokes fun at his father’s famous “Smiling through it all!” social media post with one of his own.
And hilariously, Bryce James’ post is very obviously not in a pool but features a pool background. It adds to the cleverness of the post:

As for LeBron James, well, he signed a two-year, max-deal with the Lakers.
