Bryce James Set to Visit Ohio State, per Report

Bryce James, the younger son of Lakers superstar LeBron James, is expected to make an unofficial visit to Ohio State later this week, according to Joe Tipton of On3.com.

Bryce, a four-star guard in the 2025 class according to multiple recruiting outlets, already boasts an offer from Duquesne. LeBron James has a close connection to Ohio State.

Prior to Bryce’s older brother, Bronny, announcing his commitment to USC, the Buckeyes were among the schools the former Sierra Canyon star seriously considered. In recent months, 16-year-old Bryce has increased his stock among college and pro scouts.

In July, Bryce played in the Nike Peach Jam and was considered a “priority” during the prestigious tournament, according to Krysten Peek of Yahoo Sports. Bryce will get another opportunity to put his skills on display in the upcoming USA Basketball minicamp for its junior national team starting.

Currently, Bryce is in his junior season at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, Calif., after spending the 2022-23 season at Sierra Canyon with Bryce.
