Bryan looks so uncomfortable lol, looks like the rookie was made to dress up for the team meeting today 🤣 #HalloweenWeekend #Saints pic.twitter.com/sYgNxc9fJy

Now that’s funny. New Orleans Saints defensive tackle Bryan Bresee may have had to go experience some light rookie hazing at a recent team meeting — wear he was wearing a Halloween costume inspired by the Adam Sandler classic “The Waterboy,” as seen in a photo shared by his veteran teammate Malcolm Roach.
But we can’t rule out the possibility that Bresee did this of his own free will. Maybe he just felt like throwing on Bobby Boucher’s No. 9 South Central Louisiana State Mud Dogs jersey, along with a way-too-small novelty Saints helmet and old-school mustard-yellow pants while toting a pack of water bottles around the team facility? Stranger things have happened.
Times are tough for the Saints. They’ve lost four of their last five games and a lot of questions are being asked about whether the team has the leadership in place to get them out of a jam like this. But it’s good to see Bresee and his teammates aren’t dispiriting while making time for hijinks like this. He’s got a long career ahead of them and memories like this ought to be looked back on fondly. Maybe he can channel some of Boucher’s playmaking ability on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.
