'Brutal' horror Terrifier 2 is so gory it's making people vomit in cinemas

A new horror film is so gory it's coming to UK cinemas with a warning attached. Terrifier 2 has reportedly already been responsible for people vomiting and even fainting since its release in the UK.

The independent release is up against big studio hits Smile and Halloween Ends for the spooky season. But millions have been flocking to see the sick antics of Art the clown who devastated viewers in the original Terrifier in 2016.

One of the men behind the film, producer Steve Barton, told horror fans on Twitter that the sequel is definitely not for those with 'weak stomachs'. He added that viewers should act with 'extreme caution' before watching the film.

He said: "This movie contains scenes of graphic violence and brutal depictions of horror. Viewers who are faint of heart, prone to light headedness or have weak stomachs are advised to take extreme caution.

"There have already been instances of fainting and vomiting in theatres. For those choosing to continue, you have been warned…"

The plot of Terrifier 2 sees Art hunting for two unsuspecting siblings on Halloween night. Fans of the franchise are thrilled with the new chapter and many believe Art could join the pantheon of great horror baddies, including Freddie Kruger, Michael Myers and Leatherface.

Social media user Andrew Liming was one of movie fan who took to Twitter to say: "#Terrifier2 my friend passed out and the theater called an ambulance. Highly recommended."

Bergenator @Bergenator92 on Twitter described some of Terrifier 2 as having "some of the most heinous sickening murders ever conjured up by human imagination".

Adding his opinion, vulgar overlord @wounded_kite tweeted: "TERRIFIER 2: The first movie in my lifetime where I’ve read reports of people fainting and vomiting in the theater, and then after finally seeing it myself thinking, 'yeah, I get that'."

It all could have been much worse, though. Director Damien Leone told ComingSoon.net: “Believe it or not, there is a line. What you see, at the end of the day, I’ve imagined where it can go five times worse.

"I thought of taking it to a much worse place, but I was afraid of really ostracising the audience. I know this gore is too extreme for some people, but it could also be way worse.”
