Plans to extend an entertainment hub in Derry have been submitted to the local council - and it could include an indoor mini-golf facility.
Fortuna Enterprises Ltd, which owns the Moviebowl complex in the Pennyburn Industrial Estate, submitted the plans to Derry City and Strabane District Council.
The current site currently is home to a seven-screen cinema, 10-pin bowling, restaurant, play centre, pool tables and video arcade.

The planning application states: “The proposed extension to the Brunswick Moviebowl will tie in and match with the existing structure.
“For example painted render and bricks to match with existing, rainwater goods to also match with existing, windows and doors to match existing, zinc and trocal roof to match existing.
‘All materials proposed are of a high standard and will complement the existing industrial/retail area.”
Meanwhile, it's understood the extension could incorporate part of the old Arntz factory site which lies adjacent to the current building. It emerged in 2020 that Fortuna Enterprises Ltd had acquired the site.
The application is expected before council planners in the coming months.
