Bruno Mars has been announced as the performer for the grand opening of the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, the new home of the Los Angeles Clippers. The singer will be making his return to Los Angeles after a six-year hiatus with two back-to-back opening night shows on Thursday, Aug. 15, and Friday, Aug. 16.
The CEO of Halo Sports and Entertainment, Gillian Zucker, expressed excitement about Bruno Mars' involvement, stating that his performance is expected to be iconic and leave a lasting impression on attendees. The Intuit Dome offers an intimate viewing experience with premium seats that hover over the floor, designed to minimize the gap between sections.
Additionally, the Dome features an 80,000-square-foot outdoor Plaza that includes a 5,000-square-foot retail store and three bars and restaurants. The Plaza boasts the largest outdoor 4K LED screen in Los Angeles. The Lexus Courtside Lounge, designed by Rita Konig, will be available to those with courtside seats, offering a luxurious experience reminiscent of the exclusive San Vicente Bungalows.
Aside from Bruno Mars, other notable performers scheduled to take the stage at the Intuit Dome this year include Billy Joel, Twenty One Pilots, and Usher. Tickets for both of Bruno Mars' performances will go on sale on Thursday, April 11, at 10 a.m. PT through Ticketmaster.
