Wolves boss Bruno Lage has spoken out about Arsenal's interest in signing Pedro Neto this summer.
The Gunners' club-record signing Nicolas Pepe looks to be on his way out of the exit door at the Emirates Stadium, leaving Mikel Arteta's side short of options on the right wing. According to The Athletic, Arsenal's preferred option to replace Pepe is Wolves starlet Neto, although a deal could be difficult to pull off considering the 22-year-old's hefty price tag.
Now, Lage has claimed that he has heard nothing regarding any official proposals for the Portuguese attacker before admitting that interest in his players is normal. Speaking after his side defeated Preston North End 2-1 in the Carabao Cup, he said, via Birmingham Live: "I have heard that but nothing has come to us.

“It’s normal now, with the good players that we have. Teams are looking for good players in the same way we are looking for (Goncalo) Guedes, Matheus (Nunes), (Nathan) Collins.
"No one told me anything about any proposal.” Arsenal have already spent in excess of £110 million during this summer's transfer window, bringing in five first-team players.
American shot-stopper Matt Turner, young Brazilian attacker Marquinhos, talented Portuguese midfielder Fabio Vieira and former Manchester City duo Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko have all arrived in north London, with the latter two starting all of the club's opening three Premier League matches.
