Bruno Guimaraes has shared a big change to his appearance on his Twitter account in the build-up to the Manchester City clash. He has joined fellow Brazilian team mate Joelinton in bleaching his hair blonde.
While, in many supporters’ eyes, Guimaraes could do no wrong after his blistering start to life on Tyneside, to say it has received mixed reviews would be an understatement. Although, as long as it doesn’t affect his performances, those fans won’t mind too much.
He has been so good for the Magpies recently that he was amongst the nominees for the Premier League Player of the Month award for April. His competition for the accolade comes from Kevin De Bruyne, Gabriel Jesus, Cristiano Ronaldo, Heung-min Son, Thiago, Leandro Trossard and Nathan Collins.

Whilst the competition is stiff, the United midfielder has a strong chance of picking up his first Premier League Player of the Month award. He will be desperate to carry his strong form into the final month of the season as Eddie Howe’s side look to finish the memorable 2021/22 campaign on a high.
That end-of-season run begins this afternoon as the Magpies visit the Etihad Stadium to face league leaders Manchester City. The final home game of the season follows next Monday evening as Arsenal are welcomed to St James’ Park before the season is concluded at Turf Moor against Burnley.
