Bruno Guimaraes has sent a warning message to Arsenal ahead of tonight's Premier League clash at St. James' Park.
The Gunners need to win to go back above local rivals Tottenham Hotspur as the race for top-four heats up, with the Lillywhites securing a 1-0 victory against Burnley on Sunday afternoon. However, if Mikel Arteta's side can win their last two league fixtures, they will secure a place in next season's UEFA Champions League - ending a five-year hiatus from the competition in the process.
Ahead of the high;y-anticipated match, Magpies midfielder Guimaraes has taken to social media, warning Arsenal that the Tyneside-based club will 'play together'. His tweet read: "Let’s go @NUFC! Our last game at home! We will play together as always."

Guimaraes was heavily linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium before eventually signing for Eddie Howe's side during the January transfer window, claiming that he had moved to Newcastle hoping to one day with the aforementioned Champions League given the club's ambition. "If a club has a project and wants to aspire to the maximum, then it's going to involve winning the Champions League,” the Brazilian international told Sky Sports. "It's the biggest club competition in the world and obviously we're keen on winning the Premier League as well.
“The Premier League is fast and intense. Its physicality is similar to France but the Premier League is definitely faster but the best way to learn is by practising so when I play, I'll be able to learn quickly." Guimaraes also admitted that he spoke with other clubs before joining the Magpies but refused to mention Arsenal by name.
"I did speak to some other clubs,” he added. "But the only concrete offer came in from Newcastle and I really wanted to come here.
"I've always wanted to play in the Premier League and on top of that it was the start of a new sporting project for the club."
