Bruno Guimaraes says he is the most excited he has been in years about the new season - and feels he can achieve success with both Newcastle United and Brazil at the World Cup.
Bruno is certain to be in the A Selecao's squad for Qatar and feels his country can go all the way for the tournament in the Middle East. The 24-year-old is looking to add to his haul of caps so far this summer.
He said: "I don't have words to speak about the World Cup because when I was a child I always dreamt about this moment, and it arriving. It is special.
"When I am sleeping, I am thinking about winning it!"
But he also believes that success at Newcastle is also on the cards - providing United stay patient. A top 10 aim is the initial target this term but Bruno has bigger ambitions further down the line.
He said: “We can surprise the others. We have quality and the coach is so intelligent, we can do it. We dream of the Champions League.
“We know the big six have good teams so we need to be calm - step by step we can arrive there. "
