Bruno Guimaraes has spoken of his pride after Newcastle United nudged into the Carabao Cup semi-finals.
The Brazil international - alongside his fellow countryman Joelinton - was absolutely immense as he ran the show at St James' Park. And just a year into his Newcastle career he is now looking forward to his first semi-final appearance in a black and white shirt with a trip to Wembley potentially on the horizon.
Bruno told Chronicle Live: "We're happy with the performance but proud of the result. We competed very well against Leicester. Now it is time to relax for a little while with our families after a nice game. Then we focus on Fulham."

Newcastle had to contend with a determined Leicester side for an hour before Dan Burn finally broke the deadlock in front of a sell out crowd at St James'. Bruno spoke about the mentality and the response to the disappointing FA Cup exit to Sheff Wed.
The Brazil international said: "We never give up. That's what we are trying to achieve here and that has to be the mentality. We never give up and play for our fans.
"That is what we want to give our supporters. I am just proud of the way we done it. We're in a semi-final and that is a great achievement."
The tone had been set perfectly by Newcastle fans as Wor Flags inspired a brilliant pre-match display with a throwback to Alan Shearer's testimonial back in 2006. Thousands of scarves were in the air as the teams made their way on to the hallowed turf.
Speaking about the atmosphere, Bruno said: "The fans were really amazing and we really enjoyed it. "I hope we can do this (Wor Flags scarves display) every week! It would be really nice. The fans really do make the difference for us."
Newcastle can enjoy the win over Leicester in the next couple of days but the focus will be back to Premier League action on Sunday with Fulham the visitors. Bruno can't wait for the home encounter with the Cottagers.
The midfielder said: "Of course, we think about Fulham next. We knew it was important to win the Leicester game. Once we have spent time with families. Then we think of the next game, our mentality is to go game by game."
