Bruno Fernandes did not seem excited when asked about playing on the right wing for Manchester United against Real Sociedad.
Erik ten Hag named a surprise starting line up on for the Europa League Group E deciding match against Real Sociedad on Thursday night, with Donny van de Beek and Alejandro Garnacho starting the match, and Fernandes moved out to the right.
Marcus Rashford and Anthony Elanga, who started against West Ham on Sunday, were both named on the bench in San Sebastian.

Garnacho, Ronaldo and Fernandes were the attacking three, while Van de Beek started in the No.10 position in midfield. Fernandes usually plays in that position for United but he played on the right instead and did not seem as effective in that role.
Fernandes was asked about his position change after the 1-0 defeat of Sociedad and, although he admitted he's happy to play wherever Ten Hag wants him, he did not appear to be thrilled at the prospect of playing on the right side.
"Obviously our goal for today was winning the game by a two-goal difference," Fernandes told BT Sport. "We knew we needed that. We played a great game, we tried everything, at the end we took more risks because it was needed to score the second goal.
"But we won the game, it was a great win against a tough opponent, but obviously, we have not won the group, which was our goal, but it was a win. We know they could get more chances [second half], as we had fewer people defending.
"We had to take the risk to have more people in front to score the goals. We didn't concede, so another clean sheet, which is really important for us, and we keep going undefeated in games, so that is important for the confidence of the team.
"I play wherever the coach needs me to play obviously. It's not my position, but I try my best to help the team, and to be involved in a way that I can be helpful to the team."
