Bruno Fernandes has praised Donny van de Beek after Manchester United's victory over Liverpool on Monday night.
Van de Beek would start the match on the bench but would have one of the best seats in the house for most of United's pleasing display against the Merseyside club. Jadon Sancho had given United the lead on 16 minutes with a cool finish which managed to deceive both James Milner and Virgil van Dijk.
Liverpool did begin to grow into the game but were hit with a sucker punch soon after half-time. Marcus Rashford broke the visitors' offside trap before slotting home past Alisson to make it 2-0.

VAR did check for a possible offside but the goal was eventually awarded. Mohamed Salah would score a late goal with nine minutes of normal time remaining but it was not enough.
Van de Beek came on for the latter stages following Salah's goal and played his part in seeing out a very impressive result for the Reds. Fernandes, meanwhile, captained Erik ten Hag's side in the absence of Harry Maguire who was dropped to the bench.
Post-match, the Portuguese star showed his love for his Dutch teammate on Instagram. Van de Beek posted: "Big win, see you on Saturday."
Fernandes went on to respond with a clapping emoji, a sign of how pleased he was with his teammate's impact off the bench. United are next in action at lunchtime on Saturday against Southampton.
