Erik ten Hag issues transfer message to Manchester United board
Erik ten Hag has reiterated United "need more options" for their squad as they approach the final month of the transfer window.
United have signed left-back Tyrell Malacia, centre-back Lisandro Martinez and playmaker Christian Eriksen but are short of a central midfielder and forward.
The club are persisting with a protracted move for the Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong and enquired about Ajax forward Antony but were put off by his €80million valuation. Discussions have resumed with the Brazilian's representatives.

Bruno Fernandes has admitted Manchester United's players will be punished by Erik ten Hag for not following his orders.
United began their pre-season on June 27, which means Ten Hag has now had close to four weeks to work with the squad. It is understood Ten Hag is a strict operator in training and that the players are responding well to the Dutchman's methods.
Ten Hag is straight talking and concise with his instructions, but his direct method of communication seems to be working. United have beat Liverpool, Melbourne City and Crystal Palace in pre-season and performances have been encouraging.
