Manchester United striker Anthony Martial has asked Bruno Fernandes to provide him with plenty of assists next season as he looks to get his Old Trafford career back on track.
The pair enjoyed an exchange during the club’s flight to Bangkok for their pre-season tour. Fernandes was allowed to take control of the video camera as he documented United's trip.
Martial endured a rough season last term, netting just twice all campaign, once for United and once while on loan at Sevilla. His temporary spell in Spain - which began in January - was less than successful, picking up a number of injuries and failing to score in nine La Liga outings.

This came after being subjected to limited game time at United upon Cristiano Ronaldo’s return. However, Martial is expected to fight for his place under Erik ten Hag, whether wantaway Ronaldo ends up staying or not.
During the trip over to Thailand this weekend, the Frenchman asked Fernandes to provide him with plenty of assists next season. In the clip, Fernandes said: “Anthony Martial is back. He will be back scoring goals.”
Martial responded: “Give me some assists please.” Fernandes then replied: “I will, for sure man, you know that we have that connection". Some supporters have lost faith in Martial after a strong first few years following his 2015 arrival from Monaco.
He’s netted 79 times in 269 matches for the club, but only eight have come in the last two seasons. Nevertheless, he will be hoping for a chance to impress if Ronaldo does depart Old Trafford.
