Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has admitted that he and his teammates will continue to put pressure on summer signing Antony after he marked his debut with a goal in Sunday's 3-1 win over Arsenal.
Fresh from signing for United on transfer deadline day, manager Erik ten Hag threw Antony straight into the starting line-up, meaning Anthony Elanga made way. The Brazilian's inclusion meant a slight tactical rejig for the Reds boss, as Jadon Sancho moved across to the left-flank.
Antony, who worked with Ten Hag at Ajax, brought the home crowd to its feet ten minutes before half-time. After latching onto Marcus Rashford's pass, the Brazilian made no mistake to curl home a sweet, left-footed effort from inside the penalty area.

It was exactly the sort of finish United's fans will come to expect from the 22-year-old, as he is renowned for cutting in on his left-foot. The goal was the perfect way to mark his debut for the club and Fernandes, who sported the captain's armband in the absence of Harry Maguire once again, is backing the winger to get even better.
"He is amazing and obviously it is an amazing feeling for him," Fernandes told Viaplay. "I am really happy for what he did today in the game.
"He hasn't had many training sessions with us, but he was really good and we expect much more from him, he knows that. There is big pressure on him and we will put even more pressure on him because we know what he is capable of doing.
"He will adapt to the Premier League and be even better."
Fernandes later congratulated his new teammate on social media as he wrote in a tweet: "Welcome to @ManUtd and well done for your debut and goal @antony00," followed by the handshake emoji.
