Cristiano Ronaldo endured a frosty reunion with from Manchester United teammate Bruno Fernandes in the wake of his bombshell interview with Piers Morgan earlier this week.
Ronaldo launched a blistering attack on United boss Erik ten Hag and reeled off a series of stunning revelations about the club in various clips that have been shared from the interview, which is set to be aired in full on Wednesday.
The 37-year-old has been left disgruntled after becoming a bit-part player since the arrival of Ten Hag, but he is set to feature prominently for Portugal in the World Cup, which kicks off in Qatar on Sunday.
But Ronaldo's interview, which was shared on the eve of the tournament, has reportedly left his United teammates stunned - and it certainly appears to have irked Fernandes, who plays alongside the veteran for both club and country.
While Ronaldo will not see the majority of his United colleagues for the next month as the Premier League pauses for the World Cup, Ronaldo and Fernandes will link up for Portugal in the showpiece tournament and were reunited on Monday. But in an awkward exchange captured on camera, all is seemingly not well between the pair in the wake of Ronaldo's revelations.
Fernandes walked past his United teammate after arriving with the rest of the Portugal squad ahead of their trip to Qatar, and the midfielder even left Ronaldo - who had attempted to shake hands with his compatriot - hanging before reneging and briefly interacting with his Old Trafford colleague before hastily moving on.

Ronaldo's sensational 90 minute interview with Morgan, which is set to air on TalkTV over two nights on Wednesday and Thursday this week, saw the former Real Madrid and Juventus talisman insist that the club are determined to force him out and that he had been "betrayed".
He said: "Honestly, I shouldn't say that... don't know... But listen I don't care, I'm always... People should listen to the truth. Yes, I feel betrayed and I feel that some people don't want me here, not only this year but last year, too."
Ronaldo also took aim at a number of high-profile names associated with United. He has lashed out at former teammates Gary Neville and Wayne Rooney for criticising him.
Even United's unpopular owners, the Glazer family, were not immune from Ronaldo's wrath, with the striker claiming that the Americans “don’t care” about the club.
Ronaldo's explosive interview is likely to have major repercussions for the forward; Mirror Football understands that the club are even ready to sack the five-time Ballon d'Or winner in the wake of his astonishing rant and are taking legal advice.
It now appears seriously unlikely that Ronaldo will see out the remainder of the two-year deal he penned last summer when he completed a romantic return to Old Trafford.
