Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has sent Arsenal and other rivals a warning after his side won the Carabao Cup on Sunday afternoon.
The Red Devils defeated Newcastle United 2-0 in the final at Wembley thanks to goals from Casemiro and Marcus Rashford, clinching United their first trophy of the Erik ten Hag era. After the full-time whistle, Portuguese playmaker Fernandes admitted that he is intent on bringing more silverware to Old Trafford this season.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, he said: " It’s been amazing and it’s our first trophy of the season, but we want more, it is not enough for this club. We need more because our standards want more."

The Manchester-based outfit currently find themselves third in the Premier League standings, eight points behind league-leaders Arsenal with 14 games to play. Both teams are also left in the UEFA Europa League and are considered the two favourites by many considering their star-studded squads.
United boss Ten Hag also shared Fernandes' sentiment when speaking about his side's goals for the remainder of the campaign. Writing in an open letter to the club's fanbase, the Dutchman said: " We know the importance of silverware throughout the history of this great club.
"We are so happy to bring the trophy back to Old Trafford but we are by no means satisfied and we will not stop here. Together we have experienced the feeling of what it means to win together for Manchester United.
"It is truly magnificent and will only make each of us hungrier for more success. This group has made great strides in the last few months but there is still a lot more to come.
"I can assure you that everyone at Carrington will be working constantly because we know that this club and you, our supporters, deserve more great days like this."
