Bruce Willis was among the “winners” of this year’s Golden Raspberry Awards, celebrating the worst in film.
But the award was no surprise: The Razzies think so little of Willis, they gave him his own category for “going through the motions in an astounding eight low-budget movies in one year while racking up millions.”
With eight choices, the Razzies chose “Cosmic Sin” as Willis’ worst stinker of 2021.
Other winners of the 42nd annual Razzie Awards include “Diana the Musical” — which won five awards, Jared Leto and LeBron James.
Razzie recipients receive a “tacky, gold-spray-painted” statuette that comes with a golden raspberry on top, and it’s valued at $4.97.
The Razzies are traditionally announced the day before Hollywood’s biggest night, the Academy Awards. Winners are picked by Golden Raspberry Award members, from “almost every continent and 49 U.S. States, except one of the Carolinas.”
“Diana the Musical” — the Netflix version of the short-lived Broadway production based on the life of the late Princess of Wales was a clear frontrunner for the most wins since nominations were announced on Feb. 7.
