Bruce Springsteen to tour UK in 2023, ticket details as fans calls for more concerts

Bruce Springsteen has confirmed four UK tour dates including stadium gigs in England and Scotland with the E Street Band.

The Boss, who scored a UK number 1 with his last album, 2020's Letter to You, will return to the UK in 2023 for his first concerts in the country since 2016.

Backed by the E Street Band, Springsteen will play Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, Villa Park in Birmingham and two shows at London's Hyde Park. The announcement followed European dates confirmed earlier this summer.

With some gaps in the tour dates, fans are hoping to see the Born to Run singer announce more UK shows, including in the North of England. The nearest venue on the tour for fans based in the North East is Murrayfield in Edinburgh.

"He could still announce more as there still is a big gap at the start of June," wrote fan Steven Reid on Bruce Springsteen's official Facebook page.

"Bit pissed that the North East is missed off, hope there are a few more dates coming. Looks like a trip to Edinburgh will be our choice," wrote Kathleen Taggart.

"I was hoping he would play the Stadium Of Light again," added Jamie Turnbull.
