Bruce Springsteen RDS: Dates, times and everything you need to know

Bruce Springsteen fans will soon experience the thrill of the music legend performing live as he heads to Dublin.

The singer will take to the stage this Friday for the first of three sold out gigs. The 'Born to Run' singer last performed in Dublin to packed crowds in Croke Park back in 2016.

The RDS concerts will take place on Friday May 5, Sunday May 7 and Tuesday May 9. Each event will kick off at 7pm but concertgoers can access the venue from 5pm onwards.

Tickets for the highly anticipated gigs must be shown at the doors and are easily accessible via the Ticketmaster app. As all shows are sold out, fans are asked to check their tickets in advance to make sure they attend on the correct date, as entry is not permitted otherwise.

The RDS has also warned people to avoid buying tickets outside of the Ticketmaster website, as this is likely a scam operation. Anyone who brings bogus tickets along to an event will be refused entry.

Bruce will take to the stage for the full duration of each concert, with no supporting acts scheduled. Irish fans of the singer include veteran broadcaster Charlie Bird, who previously revealed meeting the singer was the "last remaining item" on his bucket list.

Charlie's plans to attend one of the rock star's concerts were cast into doubt after he suffered a nasty fall this weekend. The 73-year-old, who was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease in 2021, remains determined to see Bruce perform in spite of the setback.
