The Cleveland Browns have added their third defensive tackle of NFL free agency, signing Trysten Hill. After landing both Dalvin Tomlinson and Maurice Hurst early this offseason, they now add another body to a room that needs desperately overhauled.
Hill, formerly of the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals, is entering his fifth season in the NFL as he has shown flash but lacked consistency. He is, however, an extremely explosive player who has tended to fair well as a pass rusher.
With the reputation of a bit of a dirty player who participates in extra-curricular activity after the whistle, the Browns will need to place solid veterans around him like Tomlinson. His contract structure will be interesting as it feels like the Browns may be throwing one-year deals into a room to create competition at the position.
