The Cleveland Browns signed former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney on Saturday ahead of their Week 14 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Toney, who won back-to-back title with the Chiefs in 2022 and 2023, was an inconsistent contributor to Kansas City’s offense and was cut by the defending Super Bowl champions after training camp on August 27.
Though it is unclear what role—if any—Toney will play for the Browns on Sunday, his presence indicates that Cleveland is willing to take a chance on his outstanding upside despite his struggles with drops and miscues that cost him the chance to compete for another ring with the Chiefs this season.

Fans in Kansas City should keep a close eye on Toney tomorrow to see if the former Florida Gator standout has cleaned up his game, or if he still needs some time to get back to the fundamentals with his new team.
