After selecting Tennessee wide receiver Cedric Tillman with pick no. 74 in the 2023 NFL draft, the Cleveland Browns have now used pick no. 98 on the big man out of Baylor, defensive tackle Siaki Ika. Potentially overcorrecting on a horrid run defense from a year ago, the Browns have selected a massive 335-pound nose tackle to hold down the middle of their defense.
He’s not athletic and did not prove to offer much as a pass rusher, but he can anchor the run well. This is a pick where I will opt to put trust in new defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz to have a plan for Ika.
