The Cleveland Browns have restructured their second contract in a matter of three days. First, it was left guard Joel Bitonio who redid his deal to clear about $8 million, and now defensive end Myles Garrett has done the same. The restructure of Garrett has cleared another $12.8 million in cap space this season. They have the most cap space in the NFL, sitting at $34 million in cap space.
Do not expect the Browns to spend that money, however, as they are projected to be about $52 million over the cap in 2024 at this point. Rolling that $34 million over into 2024 takes a massive relief off of that number.
