After the Cleveland Browns were forced to bench defensive tackle Perrion Winfrey for continued internal issues, it seems as though the rookie is wising up a bit. Now as the Browns get ready for the Pittsburgh Steelers, he has a chance to show how serious he is taking this opportunity.
In his media availability on Tuesday, Winfrey stated his discipline: “… just let me know that this game can be taken away from you at any point in time, so just take it seriously 24/7. Count your blessings.”
The Browns need a bounce-back win, and Winfrey needs a bounce-back showing as well. The ice is growing thin, so here is to hoping the rookie has taken this message to heart and turns it around.
