The Cleveland Browns offensive line hit lost another starter
Head coach Kevin Stefanski announced rookie offensive tackle Dawand Jones will officially miss the rest of the 2023 season with a knee injury. Jones missed Week 14 after tweaking his knee in practice, but the injury appears to be worse than originally thought. He also missed Week 10 with a knee and shoulder injury.
This is the third major injury to the offensive line this season. Right tackle Jack Conklin, who Jones took over for, suffered a season-ending knee injury in Week 1. Left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. has missed the past five games with a knee injury after he was placed on injured reserve.
Now, Jones is out for the year, meaning the Browns will be on their third right tackle this season. James Hudson III started for Jones in Week 14 and will likely start the rest of the year now.
