Browns now set to face the most expensive man in the NFL

The Cleveland Browns will face a motivated quarterback in Dak Prescott when they take on the Dallas Cowboys in their season-opener today.

Beating the buzzer ahead of the 4:25 ET kickoff, the Cowboys and their franchise quarterback agreed to a new contract. Inking a new four-year deal to stay in Dallas, Prescott now becomes the highest-paid quarterback in the NFL. His new deal will average $60 million per year.

The guarantees or terms of the contract have not been announced yet, so that could look a bit different once we get all of the details. However, Prescott gets paid and the Cowboys do not enter a crucial 2024 season with a massive cloud of uncertainty hanging over their heads.

How will that impact their game against the Browns today? Prescott certainly must feel lighter from the pressure to perform in a contract year. How will the Browns attack the now most expensive man in the NFL today?
