The list of players the Cleveland Browns will meet with at the NFL Scouting Combine is long, and Florida State defensive tackle Braden Fiske has made the list.
NFL Combine workouts are underway with all 32 teams in Indianapolis meeting with and watching prospects as a part of the pre-draft process. The Cleveland Browns need a defensive tackle and though they may re-sign some guys from 2023 they need more long-term options at the position.
According to reports ,the team has met with standout Braden Fiske from Flordia State who crushed his athletic testing on Thursday. Fiske scored a 9.97 (out of 10) on the relative athletic score showing how athletic and explosive he is.
At 6-foot-4 and 292 pounds he ran a ridiculous 4.78 40-yard dash time to go with 33.5 inch vertical and 4.37 second shuttle all of which are elite numbers. He is an older prospect at 24, so the Browns might not pull the trigger on him, but it is hard to argue he isn’t a great prospect.
The testing shows up on the tape to when you watch Fiske you see a relentless player that makes a massive impact as both a pass rusher and a run defender.
Fiske was the best player on the field while he was in the MAC at Western Michigan and when he transferred to Florida State and better competition he continued to play at an elite level, the Browns would have to use their top pick if they want him but he is well worth it.
Braden Fiske is a DT prospect in the 2024 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.97 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 6 out of 1620 DT from 1987 to 2024.
