The Cleveland Browns have a fair amount of positions to fill on their roster, and the 2023 NFL Draft will be their main way of doing so. And now that the season is over, mock drafts are picking up across the league. In his latest 2023 NFL Mock Draft, The Athletic’s Dane Brugler has mocked Michigan defensive tackle Mazi Smith to the Cleveland Browns with the 42nd overall pick in the draft.
Smith is an explosive and athletic defensive tackle that still needs to put it all together. However, the traits he possesses are not coachable as he heads to the NFL from Ann Arbor. He is my fourth-ranked defensive tackle in this class after Illinois’ Johnny Newton opted to return to school.
