What an ending for Jacoby Brissett and his time as the starting quarterback of the Cleveland Browns. After a comeback win, including a last-minute game-tying touchdown pass to tight end David Njoku and an overtime dart to Amari Cooper, Brissett was pleased with the outcome as well. When asked about it, Brissett quoted his former teammate Tom Brady, stating, “That was [expletive] awesome.”
After taking the starting snaps during such an uncertain year for the Browns, Brissett did nothing but show guts and grit throughout his eleven starts. The future remains unknown, but whether he returns or gets paid to be a bridge quarterback elsewhere, Brissett will go down as a forever fan favorite in Cleveland.
